What types of eyeglasses can I donate?
We accept used or new prescription eyeglasses, reading glasses, and non-prescription sunglasses in any condition. Both adult and children’s sizes are welcome.
Where can I drop off my eyeglasses?
We offer multiple convenient donation drop-off locations throughout the region, including local Lions Clubs, libraries, and local businesses. You can also bring or ship your donation directly to our center at 501 Elm Avenue SW, Roanoke VA 24016.
What happens to the glasses I donate?
Donated eyeglasses are cleaned, sorted by prescription strength, and repackaged by trained volunteers. They are then distributed to mission teams and global partners who ensure they reach individuals in underserved communities around the world.
Can I mail in my eyeglasses instead of dropping them off?
Yes! If you’re unable to visit our drop-off location, you’re welcome to ship your donation in a well secured package directly to our recycling center.

Are donations tax-deductible?
